Best Poster Award

As the final full day of the DC-2008 conference came to an end, the working groups continued to develop projects that would carry over into the coming year in preparation for DC-2009 in Seoul Korea. At the final session, the names of the winner of the best poster award was announced: Marcia L Zeng, Wei Fan, and Xia Lin for the poster titled “SKOS for an Integrated Vocabulary Structure”.

The International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications took place from Monday 22 through Friday 26 September 2008 at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in Berlin, Germany.

The conference was jointly organized by the Competence Centre for Interoperable Metadata (KIM), the Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL), the Göttingen State and University Library (SUB), the German National Library (DNB), the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (HU Berlin) and the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative and supported by Wikimedia Deutschland.
